NORITAKE DESSERT PLATE
Charming dessert or hors d'oeuvres plate with center handle which serves as a perch for a lovely 3 dimensional bluebird. Colorful floral design on the plate with an iridescent mother of pearl background and bright orange rim. The plate has the Noritake red "cherry blossom" mark. The diameter of the plate measures 8 inches. The handle with bird measures 4 1/2 inches tall. Excellent condition. A lovely example of Noritake porcelain at its best! $75. Order item #N100701

3 PIECE PICASSO INSPIRED FACE SET
Intriguing 3 piece set includes a small planter, a small bowl and a leaf shaped tray. The planter and the bowl feature stylized faces reminiscent of Picasso. The faces have raised decorations and noses. The pieces are colorfully glazed. Marked: "JAPAN" with a laurel wreath encircling a 3 leaf clover and an overlapping N and C. These could be early Noritake. I have not found this exact mark in any of the reference books. The planter measures 4 3/8 inches wide. The small bowl measures 2 1/2 inches wide. The tray measures 5 3/16 inches long. The only minor flaw is a tiny bit of wear to the glazed black area on the tray. Otherwise, the pieces are in excellent condition. $85 Order #Faces

Beautiful lusterware serving plate with gold handles. The center is mother of pearl luster with rose motif. The border is a bright orange luster with a narrow gold luster band. Red M in wreath mark. The plate measures 7 inches in diameter. Excellent condition. $45 Order #N20602

Striking Deco floral design plate with center brass handle. Red M in wreath mark. Plate measures 7 3/4 inches in diameter. Handle measures 5 inches tall.
